  1. For QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Users:
  • Go to Employees.
  • Choose Get Payroll Updates.
  • To find your current tax table version, check the number next to “You are using tax table version:.” Then, compare it with the latest payroll news and updates to ensure it’s current.
  • For more details, select Payroll Update Info.
  • To download the latest tax table, 
  • Click Download Entire Update.
  • Select Update
  • An informational window will pop up.

Note: Your SUI (State Unemployment Insurance) rate is not updated automatically and must be updated manually.

  1. For QuickBooks Online Payroll Users:
  • Automatic Updates: Your tax tables are updated automatically. No action is needed.
  • Make sure you have an active QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription to perform these updates.
